I've started...so I'll finish? Hmm

Hahahahahahahahaha I'm so bad at updating. I promise I have read books this year. I've started more than I've finished though. Like this novel, The Price of Water in Finistere, by Bodil Malmsten. I started it today and I don't imagine I'll finish it. It could be bad for my health. Let me explain.

A book I've started AND finished (probably on the same day) is Eats, Shoots and Leaves by Lynne Truss. I can't remember but I wouldn't be surprised if I read it cover to cover in one sitting because I have a slight obsession with punctuation, grammar, sytnax and all those wonderful things that make reading a delight when they are properly employed and torturous otherwise. To a certain extent it's a matter of taste, but whether this is about my taste or about Good English, I don't think I can cope much longer with Malmsten's unrelenting misuse of the comma and frankly rediculous sentence structuring.

In fact I think I'm going to give it back to the library tomorrow and be kind to my blood pressure.
